Sirloin Tip

Sirloin tip, in either steak or roast form, is very lean and inexpensive. Searing each side of the roast and allowing to roast slowly in the oven will yield a tender, juicy roast with a crispy outer layer. Steaks taste great grilled or pan fried under high heat—leaving the outside brown and the inside quite pink. To help enhance tenderness in this cut, we recommend marinating for 4-8 hours.
